Pediatric TB- Science Meeting
Under PRERNA, science meetings are organized to deepen the understanding of specific topics and to generate new ideas for future research. This year, we are planning to host a 2-day virtual science meeting on the topic “Paediatric Tuberculosis”. The purpose of the meeting is to understand the advancements and unresolved problems in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of tuberculosis in children, discuss ongoing programmatic efforts to address the gaps and need for systems strengthening to meet tuberculosis elimination targets. Subsequently, the group also intends to come up with an opinion paper outlining the research priorities in paediatric TB, especially from a health policy and systems research perspective.
